Getting here
The best way to fly to Managua is through one of five international air carriers. Continental Airlines has daily flights from Houston and American Airlines has daily flights from Miami.
Delta flies from Atlanta direct and service is also offered by TACA and NICA Airlines.
After landing in Managua, the island is a seventy-five-minute drive north heading toward the city of Leon. Rental cars are available from several international agencies in Managua and at the airport gateway.
In addition to the larger airline companies listed below, there are also a number of smaller carriers flying into Managua. They all arrive at the new international airport in Managua. Additionally, there is an airport in Leon (the second-largest city in Nicaragua).
