Being from Edmonton, I had been very interested for a while in finding a sunny spot to spend a couple of weeks during the cold Canadian winters. I searched throughout Central and South America but, in the end, Nicaragua attracted me because nowhere else seemed as beautiful and safe, and had such amazing prices. It is a diamond in the rough plagued by superstitions of ware which are certainly untrue! The country is even more appealing as an undiscovered gem. I came across the Playa Tesoro website and the photos were breathtaking. Of course not knowing John and Geoff (Bramwell) beforehand, I did my research on the company, as well as Nicaragua. John and Geoff were excellent in answering all my question; And the project seemed to looking better and better everyday. I since have got the ball rolling on closing the land deal, and already plan to return in November. We have not even gotten back onto the plane and my girlfriend already wants to make plans to move there!. I simply cannot wait to get back.

Over the years we have traveled to several Latin American countries and have always enjoyed the wonderful people and cultures. So when John Bramwell told us about Nicaragua, it tweaked our interest. But we had some doubts at first because we had heard stories of political unrest and conflict between different factions. After reading up on Nicaragua, we found that it has been politically stable and free from unrest for a number of years. We first met John when he was nineteen years old and even at that time he was co-owner of his own company. We have every confidence in the integrity of the John and Geoff Bramwell. In the past two years, they have put together a fantastic hard-working and well-informed team in Nicaragua. Playa Tesoro is truly an amazing place; an excellent location with miles of pristine sand and ocean waves, and first-class amenities under development. We are looking forward in the future to spending more time at Playa Tesoro with our grandchildren. John has shared many of his exciting ideas for Playa Tesoro with us. He is truly a visionary and with his hard work and enthusiasm Playa Tesoro is going to be one of the foremost developments in Nicaragua. During the last year we have visited Nicaragua four times and have found the local people to be friendly and courteous. During each visit, we have seen the progress at Playa Tesoro and continue to closely follow the development progress. After two years, we believe that have made a good investment in Playa Tesoro Resort.

John has been an acquaintance of mine for a few years, and when John and I sat down to talk about Playa Tesoro, he presented the project very well.
